Two open writing positions in the President’s Office at Georgetown University.
We’re looking for team players who are excellent, adaptable writers.  A good candidate will be able to represent Georgetown and the President’s distinct voice. He/she will help on a variety of speeches, letters, social media, messages and other communications tasks:
Senior Communications Specialist

The Senior Communications Specialist will assist in the research, writing, and development of a broad range of written, spoken and digital communication for the President’s Office.  S/he will be a member of a cross-functional writing team and will assist with various communication tasks and projects, including drafting correspondence, speeches, talking points, and other research and writing projects as required.  Additionally, s/he will play a leading role in the content, maintenance, and ongoing development of the President’s digital properties.

The Senior Communications Specialist will report to the Director of Presidential Communications and Community Engagement and the Director of Strategic Communications and will be an integral member of the President’s Office communications team.  S/he will also work in close partnership with members of the President’s Office staff, as well as colleagues across the university and external constituents.

Communications Specialist
