We are currently seeking a Research Assistant to join our team in Washington, D.C.
You will support a range of research projects related to K-12 or higher education, which will include using either quantitative or qualitative methods. You may assist in data collection and documentation, enter and verify accuracy of data, collect web-based extant policy data, produce basic analyses, develop presentations for professional audiences, review and write reports and correspondence, revise manuscripts in response to editorial and technical comments, and support implementation of education-related applied research or technical assistance projects. Some data collection activities may include interviews and focus groups, and may require some domestic travel.
Bachelor’s degree in liberal arts field, education, or public policy is required.
Research experience desirable
Strong organizational skills, clear writing, attention to detail, thorough, self-starter.
Ability to travel occasionally
