The Washington DC chapter of UXPA is gearing up for a summer and fall filled with some great events of interest to those in and around the DC area. A few things upcoming include:
1. Workshop: Storytelling Research Results to Win Stakeholder Buy-In. Led by longtime UX researcher Stephanie Pratt, this workshop will give you a new set of tools for turning skeptical stakeholders into user-research converts. Session will be held in Arlington, VA, on May 29. Details here.
2. Conference: DCUX 2019 – Design for People, Places, and Things. Our signature event of the year, this conference will be held Nov. 8-9 at the Washington Marriott at Metro Center in downtown DC. Friday will focus on workshops, with Saturday dedicated to talks and panel discussions. Planning is still in the early stages, so if you’re interested in speaking, leading a workshop, volunteering, attending, or sponsoring, check out the conference website.
And there are more summer and fall workshops in the works as well — keep an eye on their Meetup page for details.
